Our behavioural compass

S.T.A.R.

Four expectations that apply everywhere. Classroom, playground, bus, and library. One set of habits, not five.

Our values in action

S.T.A.R. — how we behave.

Each letter is a value, with its own expectations and routines across the school.

  • Strive to do your best

Put forth your best effort in every task, both in academics and personal life. We embrace a growth mindset — effort matters more than outcome.

  • Take responsibility

Be accountable for your actions, belongings, and commitments — and take care of your environment. Every choice has a consequence; every person has the power to choose.

  • Always work together

Promote collaboration, teamwork, and shared problem-solving. Community is a skill — it is taught, not assumed.

  • Respect yourself, others, and the world around

Cultivate respect for yourself, your peers, your teachers, and the environment and resources you rely on. Respect is the foundation of every relationship.
