Cosmos One ("the App") is developed and operated by Auradia for Cosmos Primary School, Pendurthi, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects the following information:

  • Account Information: Name and email address from your Google Workspace (@cosmosprimary.com) account, used for authentication.
  • Academic Data: Student records, assessment scores, attendance, and curriculum-related data entered by authorised educators and administrators.
  • Behavioural Data: S.T.A.R. Coins awards and A.I.M. check-in records.
  • Usage Data: Basic usage analytics to improve the App experience.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's educational features
  • Track student academic progress and generate reports
  • Manage school operations, staff records, and administration
  • Communicate with educators, parents, and staff
  • Improve the App based on usage patterns

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers in the Asia-Pacific region (Singapore). We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), role-based access control (RBAC), and Google OAuth 2.0 authentication.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties. Data is only accessible to authorised school staff based on their role and permissions within the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Student data is entered and managed by authorised educators and administrators. Students do not directly create accounts or input personal data into the App. All student data handling complies with applicable child data protection regulations.

7. Data Retention

Academic and student records are retained for the duration of the student's enrollment and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by educational regulations. Staff data is retained for the duration of employment.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting the school administration. Access to the App can be revoked by removing your Google Workspace account.
