## How These Worksheets are Used

These seven worksheets accompany the **Level 1 pattern sequence**. Each worksheet is used **after** the multi-sensory introduction of the pattern — not as the *first* exposure.

**Sequence per pattern:**

1. Gross motor (air, playground, easel)
2. Medium scale (sand, foam, whiteboard)
3. Worksheet — fine motor consolidation
4. Independent application (free drawing/pattern picture)

- **Friendly hand-drawn aesthetic** — not clip-art
- **Generous white space** — do not crowd the page
- **Consistent character** appears across all 7 worksheets ("Patty the Pattern-Maker")
- **Starting dots** in green; **finishing dots** in red
- **Direction arrows** in blue (used sparingly, only where new)
- **Letter-free** — NO letters appear anywhere in Level 1 worksheets
